Pecos Valley Dill Dip Mix
The hot humid climate of much of Texas and it's many lush river valleys is ideal for growing dill. The tall, thin, tasty plant has been used as a pickling spice for generations on Texas farms, but offers so much more. We've combined a tangy selection of fresh dried dill with a balance of complimentary spices to tickle your taste buds. Guaranteed to remind you of that "fresh from the garden" taste!
Preparation Instructions: Mix package of dip mix with 1 cup sour cream and 1 cup mayonnaise. Refrigerate for at least one hour to allow flavors to blend. Mix can also be prepared with 8 oz. softened cream cheese and 2-3 tablespoons milk to the desired spreading consistency.
Additional Recipe Ideas:
1. Serve prepared dip with pumpernickel bread or an assortment of fresh veggies.
2. Prepare with 1 cup plain yogurt and use as a creamy topping for grilled salmon or chicken.
3. A delicious topping for baked potatoes. Yum!
