Vodka Cream Sauce
Mastering “Pasta alla Vodka” can seem intimidating. Dicing onions, mincing garlic, shredding Parmesan cheese, the process can be tedious. So we created a Vodka Cream Mix that gives you the same authentic “Old World” flavor in under 10 minutes. Pour over any of our Artisan Pastas for a quick and tasty meal.
Mix net weight 2.5 oz
You will need:
2 cups water
1 (6oz) can tomato paste
1 (14.5 oz) can crushed tomatoes
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup milk
Pasta, Our Kale Campanelle or Sun Dried Tomato & Basil Linguini
Combine sauce packet with water and tomato paste. Bring to a boil and simmer 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat and add crushed tomatoes, Parmesan cheese, and milk.
Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 3-5 minutes. Additional water may be added for a thinner sauce.
Serve over cooked and well drained pasta.
Meat sauce variation: Pour 3 cups water in pan. Add 1/2 lb ground chuck or ground turkey, breaking meat into fine pieces as it cooks over medium heat. add tomato paste and water and proceed as above. Serves eight.
